Stock Touring Car Rules

Chassis

Only Tamiya TT-01/TT-01E and TT-02/TT-02D kit chassis allowed
Red, blue, white or black carbon reinforced plastic chassis are not permitted
Chassis variants S, SR, RR are not permitted

ESC

We operate a control ESC and only one of the following is allowed and no additions may be made to the electronics of the car (capacitors etc)

• Hobbywing 1060 esc (Recommended)

• Tamiya kit speed controller (You may need a separate LiPo cut off depending on which version comes with the kit)

Motor

Tamiya torque tuned motor only (54358) Label must not be removed.

Batteries

Only 2S 7.4v Li-Po or 6 cell 7.2v NiMH batteries allowed
No restriction on battery capacity
Anyone using Li-HV batteries must only charge to 7.4v as per BRCA regulations. 
Random checks will be carried out

Servo

No restrictions

Gearing

The Front differential must not be locked and must still function as a differential when tested.

FDR must be as shown below

Wheels/Tyres

Any wheel is permitted

Schumacher Yellow SST Rally car tyres (U6629)
Any foam insert permitted that fits the above tyre
UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES IS ANY KIND OF TYRE ADDATIVE ALLOWED

Bodyshell

Any shell supplied with the Tamiya kit or bodyshell that has a likeness of a real road car, GT, saloon or rally car.

Wings

Only wings supplied with bodyshell permitted

Weight

No minimum weight

Ride Height

5mm minimum

If you wish to race at Sidcup the only thing you will need to change are the wheels and tyres as they use carpet:  SIDCUP TYRE REQUIREMENTS WHEELS: Any rim design may be used apart from dished.
