This class is perfect for affordable, close racing using Tamiya TT-01 and TT-02 chassis. Designed to be accessible and beginner-friendly, the Tamiya Tourers provide a fun and competitive experience at SMCC.

Rules
Chassis | Only Tamiya TT-01/TT-01E and TT-02/TT-02D kit chassis. No S, SR, RR or carbon-reinforced variants. |
Motor | Tamiya Torque Tuned Motor (54358) only. Label must remain intact. |
ESC | Hobbywing 1060 or Tamiya kit ESC only. No electronic modifications or add-ons. |
Servo | Any servo permitted. |
Gear Ratio | FDR must remain as per kit. Front differential must not be locked. |
Wheels | Any 26mm wheels allowed. |
Tyres | Standard: Schumacher Yellow SST Rally (U6629). No tyre additive permitted. |
Bodyshell | Any shell from the kit or any realistic GT, saloon or rally car body. |
Weight | No minimum weight requirement. |
Ride Height | Minimum 5mm ground clearance. |
Batteries | Only 2S 7.4V Li-Po or 6-cell 7.2V NiMH. Li-HV must be charged to 7.4V max. Random checks apply. |
Allowed Hop-ups | See club doc: includes items like alloy hubs, ball-race bearings, oil shocks, prop shaft, servo saver etc. If it’s not listed, it’s not allowed. (Any commercially available brand permitted)
