Cookies

We only use cookies that are strictly necessary to make the site work. We don't use cookies for analytics, advertising, or tracking, and we don't share cookie data with third parties. The banner exists for transparency and to record your preference in case that ever changes.

What we use

• Authentication cookies— set by our auth provider (Supabase) when you sign in, so we know it's still you on each page you visit. These expire when you sign out or after a period of inactivity.
• Session preferences — small cookies used to keep things like theme preference or in-progress booking state consistent as you navigate.

What we don't use

• No analytics cookies (Google Analytics, Plausible, etc.)
• No advertising or marketing cookies
• No social media tracking pixels
• No fingerprinting or cross-site tracking

Third-party cookies during payment

When you book a race, you're redirected to Stripe to enter your card details. Stripe sets its own cookies on their domain (checkout.stripe.com) to keep the payment secure and prevent fraud. These are governed by Stripe's cookie policy and are essential to completing payment.

Managing cookies in your browser

You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Note that if you block our authentication cookies, you won't be able to sign in. Help pages for the major browsers:
