What a night of racing we had at Sevenoaks Model Car Club for Round 7 of the 2026 Winter/Spring Championship! The hall was buzzing with excitement as drivers battled it out across multiple classes.
Short Course Truck
The Short Course Truck class saw some fantastic driving. In the A Final, Adam Gammage took a commanding victory, completing 20 laps. Jason Weaver secured second place, just ahead of Andrew Boakes who finished third.
Buggy
The Buggy class produced some incredibly close racing. Nick Stokes was on top form in the A Final, taking the win with an impressive 23 laps. Tom Jones claimed a strong second place, with Holly Weaver rounding out the podium in third.
Touring Car
In the Touring Car category, the A Final was a thrilling contest. Craig Playfoot emerged victorious, completing 21 laps. Damian Brown finished a close second, followed by Ian Webb in third.
Tamiya Tourers
The Tamiya Tourers class delivered exciting battles throughout the evening. The B Final was won by Oscar Pay, while the A Final saw Damian Brown take the chequered flag after 21 laps. Jack Brown finished second, with Ian Foxwell taking third place.
Several drivers had a standout night, appearing on multiple podiums. Damian Brown was a regular podium visitor, appearing on six occasions. Andrew Boakes, Jason Weaver, Nick Stokes, and Tom Jones also impressed, each making four podium appearances across the different classes. The fastest lap of the night was achieved by Nick Stokes in the Buggy A Final with an incredible time of 12.37 seconds.
