What a night of thrilling racing we had at Sevenoaks Model Car Club for Round 6 of the 2026 Summer Championship!
Short Course Truck
The Short Course Truck class saw some fantastic battles throughout the evening. Toby Halstead took a dominant win in the A Final, finishing with 26 laps and a fastest lap of 10.51 seconds. Tim Halstead secured second place in the A Final, just ahead of Alan Culham who completed the A Final podium.
Buggy
In the Buggy class, Ian Foxwell clinched the A Final victory with 28 laps and a blistering fastest lap of 10.19 seconds. Nick Stokes put in a strong performance to take second place in the A Final, with Ben Clark rounding out the top three.
Touring Car
The Touring Car races were incredibly competitive. Adam Gammage was on top form, taking the A Final win with 30 laps and setting the fastest lap of the meeting so far at 9.49 seconds. James Weaver finished a close second in the A Final, with Bill Boag taking third.
Tamiya Tourers
The Tamiya Tourers delivered close racing across multiple heats and finals. Damian Brown was a consistent front-runner, winning the Tamiya Tourers A Final with 27 laps. Jack Brown secured second place in the A Final, while Jimmy Zepp claimed third. Polly Gammage took victory in the Tamiya Tourers B Final.
Several drivers impressed with their consistency across multiple classes and races. Ian Foxwell, Tim Halstead, Toby Halstead, Alan Culham, and Nick Stokes all made it onto the podium an impressive four or five times throughout the night, showcasing their skill and adaptability on the track.
