What a fantastic evening of racing we had at Sevenoaks Model Car Club! The hall was buzzing with excitement as our dedicated drivers battled it out on the track.
Short Course Truck
The Short Course Truck class saw some brilliant racing. Toby Halstead took a superb win in the A-final, holding off a strong challenge from Chris Luckett and Tim Halstead, who finished second and third respectively.
Buggy
In the Buggy class, Nick Stokes was in dominant form, taking the A-final win. Ben Clark secured a solid second place, with Holly Weaver rounding out the podium in third.
Touring Car
The Touring Car races were incredibly competitive. Tim Webb emerged victorious in the A-final, followed closely by Ian Webb in second and Martin Timms in third. James Weaver also showed impressive pace throughout the heats.
Tamiya Tourers
The Tamiya Tourers provided plenty of thrilling action. Tim Webb claimed a brilliant A-final victory, with Jimmy Zepp taking second and Martin Timms third. Damian McLean fought hard to win the B-final.
The evening was packed with standout performances. Tim Webb had an incredible night, appearing on the podium an impressive eight times and securing A-final wins in both the Touring Car and Tamiya Tourers classes! Martin Timms also enjoyed a successful evening with five podium appearances. Nick Stokes, Ben Clark, and Tim Halstead were also consistently strong, each achieving four podium finishes. The fastest lap of the night belonged to Ian Cowe in the Touring Car class with a blistering 13.61 seconds.
