2026 Summer Championship - Round 3: B Final Buggy Recap
What a finish to the Buggy B Final here at Sevenoaks Model Car Club! Toby Halstead takes the win, crossing the line having completed 21 laps. Ben Clark fought hard, leading for a spell on lap 3, but ultimately finished second, one lap down. Mark Walkden put in a solid performance to round out the podium, finishing third with 18 laps to his name.
The lead battle was intense in the early stages. Toby Halstead held P1 initially, but Ben Clark made a decisive move on lap 3 to take the lead. However, Toby responded immediately, snatching the lead back on lap 4 and holding it all the way to the checkered flag. While Ben Clark recorded the fastest lap of the race with a blistering 12.74 seconds, Toby Halstead's consistency across his 21 laps proved to be the winning formula.
Peter McKerrow and Tom Jones were unable to complete a lap and therefore did not finish the race. A fantastic effort from Toby, Ben, and Mark to battle it out for the top spots!
