Race 2 - Buggy - A Final Recap
What a fantastic finish to the Buggy A Final here at Sevenoaks Model Car Club! Nick Stokes takes the win, crossing the line to complete 23 laps on a total time of 314.24 seconds. It was a strong performance from Nick to take the victory in this hotly contested round of the 2026 Summer Championship.
The race saw some dramatic lead changes earlier on. Lap 2 saw James Campbell take the lead from Ian Foxwell, and James held that advantage for a significant portion of the race. However, on lap 10, Ian Foxwell fought back to reclaim the lead. Ian eventually finished second, completing 21 laps, just shy of Nick's tally. James Campbell held on for third place, completing 20 laps, and set the fastest lap of the race with an impressive 13.01-second run.
Despite the lead battles, Nick Stokes managed to maintain a consistent pace and ultimately secure the win. Ian Foxwell's strong middle stint put him in a strong position, and James Campbell showed flashes of brilliance with his fastest lap. A great race for the top three!
