2026 Summer Championship - Round 9: Touring Car A Final
What a display from James Weaver in the Touring Car A Final tonight! From the moment the flag dropped, Weaver was in a league of his own, leading every single lap of the race. He set the fastest lap of the meeting with a blistering 12.26 seconds and never looked back, taking a dominant victory.
Behind Weaver, the battle for the remaining podium places was fierce. Ian Cowe and Ian Foxwell spent much of the race running in second and third respectively, pushing each other hard. Cowe managed to hold on to a strong second position, completing 22 laps. Foxwell also completed 22 laps, bringing his car home in third, just 0.19 seconds behind Cowe after the checkered flag.
Martin Timms ran a consistent race, finishing in fourth after 17 laps. Unfortunately, Adam Gammage was unable to complete any laps in this final. A fantastic evening of racing for the Sevenoaks Model Car Club members.
