Race 2 - Buggy Recap
What a drive from Tom Jones in Race 2! He absolutely dominated the buggy class, leading every single lap from lights out to the chequered flag. It was a flawless performance, setting a strong pace throughout the 16 laps, and he finished with a total time of 240.58 seconds, a clear winner.
The battle for the podium spots was where the real drama unfolded. Mark Walkden put in a fantastic effort, climbing two positions from his starting spot to secure a strong second place. Despite Tom Jones' commanding lead, Mark managed to take the fastest lap of the entire race with an impressive 12.100 seconds! He completed 14 laps in total, finishing just 2.54 seconds behind Tom. Holly Weaver rounded out the top three, also completing 14 laps, but finishing 10.58 seconds adrift of Mark.
Glen Liddle finished in fourth, with David Pay taking fifth despite completing fewer laps. Ben Clark and Peter McKerrow both finished their races early, but it was a great showing from everyone on track tonight at the Sevenoaks Model Car Club.
