Buggy Race 2: Jones Takes Dominant Victory
What a fantastic show of speed we saw tonight in Buggy Race 2 of the 2026 Winter/Spring Championship! Tom Jones put in a truly commanding performance, taking the win after a swift move on lap two saw him take the lead from Glen Liddle. From that point on, Tom was untouchable, setting the fastest lap of the race at a blistering 13.28 seconds and never relinquishing control. He crossed the line with a healthy margin, signalling his intent for the rest of the season.
Glen Liddle started strong, leading the early laps before Tom's charge. Glen held onto second position for the remainder of his race, completing 15 laps. Just behind him, Mark Walkden fought hard to secure third place on the podium, finishing with 14 laps completed, a solid result after a consistent drive. Holly Weaver finished fourth, just ahead of David Pay who completed 8 laps before the finish. Ben Clark and Peter McKerrow were unfortunately unable to complete any laps tonight.
