Tamiya Tourers Race 5 Recap
What a display from Craig Playfoot in the Tamiya Tourers! He was utterly dominant from start to finish, leading every single lap of the race. It was a masterclass in consistency, with Craig crossing the line a clear winner. Behind him, the battle for the remaining podium spots was where the real drama unfolded.
Carlo Liddle initially took second place, holding it for the first ten laps. However, a strong push from Ollie Gammage saw him move up to third on lap 5 and then into second on lap 6, only for Carlo to reclaim the spot a lap later. Ultimately, Carlo managed to complete 11 laps to secure second place, but Ollie fought valiantly to finish third, completing his ninth lap just ahead of Robert Bevan.
Robert Bevan, despite setting the fastest lap of the entire race with an impressive 11.94 seconds, found himself battling through the field. He climbed from fifth on lap 1 to third by lap 3, but ultimately finished fourth, just shy of a podium finish. Delilah Clark rounded out the top five, completing eight laps in a solid run. A fantastic race night at Sevenoaks Model Car Club!
