Race 2 Buggy Recap - Glen Liddle Dominates
What a display from Glen Liddle in Race 2 of the Buggy class! Glen was in a league of his own from the lights out, taking the lead on lap one and never looking back. He masterfully controlled the entire 13-lap race, setting the fastest lap of the event with a blistering 16.32 seconds and finishing a full 22.82 seconds ahead of his nearest competitor. His consistency was also remarkable, with a standard deviation of just 3.02 seconds across his laps.
Mark Walkden put in a solid performance to secure second place. He held station in second position throughout the race, completing 12 laps. While he couldn't match Glen's pace at the front, Mark demonstrated excellent consistency, with a standard deviation of only 1.48 seconds, and ultimately finished comfortably ahead of the rest of the field.
The battle for the final podium spot was a little more eventful. Peter McKerrow, after an initial P4, fought his way up to third by lap two and held it for the remainder of his 10 laps. David Pay, starting strongly in third, unfortunately retired after lap three, leaving Peter to claim a well-deserved third place finish.
