What a finish to Race 7 of the 2026 Winter/Spring Championship here at Sevenoaks Model Car Club! Jack Brown has taken the win in the Tamiya Tourers class, but it certainly wasn't straightforward. Damian Brown got off to a flying start, leading from the very first lap. However, Jack Brown was right there and made his move on lap 2 to take the lead.
The lead swapped hands again on lap 10, with Damian Brown snatching the advantage back, only for Jack Brown to reclaim the top spot on lap 11. Jack ultimately went on to complete 16 laps, a blistering pace that saw him secure the fastest lap of the race with a 14.87 second run.
Damian Brown finished in second place having completed 15 laps, with Jimmy Zepp bringing his car home in third, also on 15 laps. Martin Timms and Chris Playfoot both completed 14 laps, finishing in fourth and fifth respectively. A fantastic display of touring car racing on the polished hall floor!
