Buggy Battle: Stokes Takes Dominant Victory at SMCC
Nick Stokes has put on a masterclass in tonight's Buggy main event, leading from the very first lap all the way to the chequered flag. He set the fastest lap of the entire race, a blistering 12.69 seconds, and maintained a comfortable gap to his rivals throughout the 18-lap contest. Stokes was in a class of his own tonight, consistently setting a strong pace and showing incredible control on the polished hall floor.
Behind the dominant leader, Tom Jones fought hard to secure second place. Jones held a solid second for the entire race, completing 17 laps to finish just shy of Stokes' total. While he wasn't able to close the gap to the leader, Jones demonstrated real grit to hold off any challenges and take a well-deserved runner-up spot.
Holly Weaver showed flashes of speed, completing three laps in third place. Unfortunately, her race was cut short, but the pace she showed on those laps was impressive. Ian Foxwell unfortunately had a difficult outing and did not record any laps. A great night of racing from everyone involved!
