Round 7 Tamiya Tourers Race Recap
What a drive from Polly Gammage in tonight's Tamiya Tourers race! She was in a class of her own, leading from the very first lap right through to the chequered flag. Polly set a blistering pace all the way, notching up the fastest lap of the race with a superb 20.99 seconds. She maintained that front-running pace consistently, leaving the competition to battle it out behind her.
Oli Broderick and Ollie Gammage were locked in their own duel for much of the early and middle stages. Oli held a strong second position for the first seven laps, with Ollie Gammage right on his heels in third. As the race progressed into the final laps, Ollie Gammage managed to make a decisive move, passing Oli Broderick to secure second place on lap eight. Both drivers completed eight laps, finishing just under five seconds apart, with Ollie Gammage taking the runner-up spot.
Robert Bevan and Steve Horton unfortunately did not record any laps in this encounter. A fantastic win for Polly, and a hard-fought second for Ollie Gammage!
