Tamiya Tourers Round 7: Foxwell Dominates
What a drive from Ian Foxwell in the Tamiya Tourers! He was in a class of his own tonight at Sevenoaks Model Car Club, leading every single lap from start to finish. His consistent pace, including the fastest lap of the race at a blistering 15.32 seconds, kept him well clear of the chasing pack. Foxwell completed 15 laps in a total time of 245.96 seconds to take a commanding victory.
Behind the leader, the battle for the remaining podium places was fiercely contested. Donna Belton - Timms fought hard to secure second place, completing 12 laps. George Cordier also put in a strong performance, finishing a close third with 11 laps completed. Oscar Pay and Sophie Cowe rounded out the top five, both also completing 11 laps and 9 laps respectively.
It was a night of clear leadership at the front, but the middle of the field showed some determined driving. A great effort from all our Tamiya Tourer racers!
