Race 2 - Buggy - A Final Recap
What a display from Nick Stokes in the A Final! He absolutely dominated the Buggy class, leading from the very first lap all the way to the chequered flag, not relinquishing the lead for even a second. His consistency was astounding, finishing with a total time of 304.62 seconds and clocking the fastest lap of the race at a blistering 12.37 seconds.
Tom Jones put in a strong performance to secure second place. Starting from fourth on the grid, he fought his way up through the field, gaining two places by the end of the race. He completed 22 laps in total, finishing just under 7 seconds behind Nick. Holly Weaver rounded out the podium, taking third place on 20 laps.
It was a tough night for Glen Liddle and Mark Walkden, who both retired from the race having completed 19 and 17 laps respectively. Peter McKerrow and David Pay also retired earlier in the race. Congratulations to Nick on a faultless drive and to Tom and Holly for their podium finishes!
