What a spectacular A Final we witnessed tonight for the Tamiya Tourers at Sevenoaks Model Car Club! Damian Brown was absolutely on rails from the start, leading every single lap of the race. He set a blistering pace, culminating in the fastest lap of the entire event at a stunning 13.32 seconds, and comfortably took the chequered flag.
Behind Damian, there was a fantastic battle for position. Jack Brown had a brilliant drive, climbing three places from his starting position to secure a strong second place. He consistently ran near the front, finishing just 2.84 seconds behind Damian, and showing excellent pace throughout. The final podium spot went to Ian Foxwell, who battled hard over 19 laps to bring his car home in third.
Martin Timms and Jimmy Zepp also completed 19 and 18 laps respectively, finishing fourth and fifth. Chris Playfoot and Donna Belton – Timms rounded out the field, both having shown great commitment on the track. A superb conclusion to Round 7 of the Winter/Spring Championship!
