Buggy Class - Summer Championship Round 1
Tom Jones has taken a dominant victory in the opening round of the Summer Championship Buggy class here at Sevenoaks Model Car Club. From the moment the lights went out, Tom was in a class of his own, leading every single lap of the race. He set the fastest lap of the event with a blistering 13.43 seconds, consistently staying ahead of the pack.
Behind Tom, the battle for the podium positions was a hard-fought affair. Ian Foxwell started in third but quickly moved up to second on lap two, a position he held for the remainder of the race. He maintained a solid pace, completing 17 laps in total. Ben Clark fought hard, initially holding second place but eventually dropping back to third by lap two. Ben managed 16 laps, ultimately crossing the line to secure the final podium spot. Holly Weaver, starting in fourth, remained in that position throughout the race, completing 14 laps.
Tom Jones finished with a total time of 252.14 seconds, comfortably ahead of Ian Foxwell's 246.52 seconds. Ben Clark rounded out the podium with a time of 245.4 seconds. A strong performance from all drivers on a challenging track.
