Short Course Truck Race 1: Culham Dominates
What a display from Alan Culham in the Short Course Truck class tonight at Sevenoaks Model Car Club! From the moment the tone dropped, Culham was in a class of his own, leading every single lap of this encounter. He set the fastest lap of the race with a blistering 14.9 seconds, a time that no one else could get close to. Culham took the checkered flag having completed 16 laps, a truly faultless drive.
Behind the dominant leader, the battle was for second place. Keith Griggs put in a strong performance to secure the runner-up spot, finishing 15 laps just over 5 seconds behind Culham. Griggs held a consistent second place throughout the entire race, managing to keep Andrew Boakes at bay.
Andrew Boakes, driving hard, finished in third position, completing 12 laps. Boakes showed flashes of speed with some quick mid-race laps, but ultimately couldn't match the pace of the leading two over the full distance. A great effort from all three drivers out on track tonight!
