The dust has settled here at Sevenoaks Model Car Club after an electrifying Buggy race for Round 1 of the Summer Championship! Toby Halstead put on an absolute masterclass, leading from the very first lap and never looking back. He controlled the entire race, ultimately taking the win having led every single lap. His fastest lap of the race, a blistering 13.83 seconds, demonstrates his dominance on the polished hall floor tonight.
Behind Toby, Tim Webb fought valiantly to secure second place. He maintained a consistent second position throughout the race, completing 15 laps and finishing just ahead of Mark Walkden. Walkden, meanwhile, had a more eventful race. He started in fourth but climbed to third on lap three and held that position to the checkered flag, bringing his buggy home for a well-deserved podium spot after completing 13 laps.
Peter McKerrow showed moments of speed, running in third for the opening two laps before dropping back. He completed 11 laps to finish fourth. Damian McLean unfortunately did not record a lap time and did not finish. A fantastic display of driving from Toby Halstead to kick off the championship!
