What a sensational Tamiya Tourers race at the Sevenoaks Model Car Club tonight! Tim Webb takes the win, but it was far from straightforward. Tim spent the opening laps in second, then dropped to third on lap three, before clawing his way back. He took the lead for the first time on lap six, but Damian Brown responded immediately, snatching it back on lap seven. The lead swapped again on lap twelve, Tim Webb back in front, only for Damian to regain the lead once more on lap thirteen. Then, on lap fourteen, Tim Webb made his decisive move, taking the lead and holding on for victory.
Mark Shepherd was right in the mix, leading on lap one and running in the top three for the majority of the race. He finished a very close second, just 0.95 seconds behind Tim. Damian Brown, despite setting the fastest lap of the race with a blistering 13.87s, ultimately finished third, just 1.07 seconds behind Mark. Jack Brown held a solid fourth position throughout, and Jimmy Zepp brought his car home in fifth after starting from sixth on lap one. Mark K Shepherd completed 16 laps to secure sixth place.
