2026 Summer Championship - Round 1: Short Course Truck A Final
What a fantastic start to the 2026 Summer Championship here at Sevenoaks Model Car Club! The A Final for the Short Course Trucks delivered plenty of drama, even if the lap data tells a slightly unusual story. Alan Culham takes the victory, crossing the line having completed 20 laps in a total time of 314.57 seconds. His fastest lap was a swift 14.97 seconds, a truly blistering pace.
Right behind him, Keith Griggs secures a strong second place, also completing 17 laps. His effort clocked in at 315.7 seconds, just a whisker behind Alan, and he managed a best lap of 16.23 seconds. Rounding out the podium, Andrew Boakes fought hard to finish third, completing 14 laps in 313.21 seconds. His fastest lap was 18.98 seconds.
It’s certainly an interesting set of results, with the top finishers having completed different numbers of laps but incredibly close total times. A brilliant display of racing skill from all three drivers in this opening round!
