2026 Summer Championship - Round 1: Touring Car A Final
What a fantastic start to the Summer Championship here at Sevenoaks Model Car Club! Steve Jenner has taken a commanding victory in the Touring Car A Final, crossing the line after 23 laps. While the lap-by-lap data doesn't show his exact position throughout, his consistent pace was clearly enough to seal the win. Ian Webb fought hard to secure second place, completing 21 laps and finishing just ahead of Tim Halstead, who rounded out the podium in third with 20 laps.
The battle for the lower points positions was equally intense. Martin Timms came home in fourth on 19 laps, with Ian Cowe taking fifth after 11 laps. James Weaver also completed his race, finishing sixth. Despite the absence of lap-by-lap position data for the drivers, the final standings tell the story of a hard-fought and exciting race on the polished hall floor.
