Tamiya Tourers B Final: Foxwell Dominates from Start to Finish
What a drive from Ian Foxwell in the Tamiya Tourers B Final tonight at Sevenoaks Model Car Club! From the moment the tone dropped, Foxwell was in a class of his own, leading every single lap of the 21-lap race. He set the fastest lap of the race with a blistering 13.98 seconds and maintained a comfortable gap to second place throughout. A truly commanding performance to take the win.
Behind the dominant leader, Martin Timms secured a strong second position. He held second place for the entire race, completing 20 laps. Oscar Pay came home in third, also completing 20 laps but finishing just behind Timms. Pay spent the early laps of the race fighting for position before settling into third, which he held from lap 3 onwards.
Further down the order, Donna Belton-Timms fought back valiantly after an early struggle, moving up through the field to finish fourth. Polly Gammage held onto fifth place for much of the race, eventually completing 15 laps. Peter McKerrow rounded out the finishers in sixth, after completing 13 laps. A great night of racing for the Tamiya Tourers!
