Buggy Class - Summer Championship Round 2
What a drive from Ian Foxwell in the Buggy class! He absolutely dominated Race 2 of the Summer Championship, leading from the very first lap all the way to the chequered flag. Not only did he take the win, but he also set the fastest lap of the race with an impressive 11.51 seconds, proving he was in a class of his own on the polished hall floor tonight.
Behind the runaway leader, the battle was for the remaining podium places. Mark Walkden held a strong second for the majority of the race, completing 15 laps in total. However, Peter McKerrow was making steady progress, moving up to third on lap two and maintaining that position. Despite his consistent efforts, McKerrow couldn't quite close the gap, ultimately finishing three laps behind Walkden.
Holly Weaver finished a respectable fourth, securing 10 laps to her name, just ahead of James Campbell who managed 7 laps before the race concluded. Tom Jones completed one lap, while Damian McLean was unfortunately a non-starter. A fantastic display of consistent driving from Ian Foxwell tonight!
