What a cracking finish to Race 3 for the Touring Cars here at Sevenoaks Model Car Club tonight! Steve Jenner takes the win, completing 22 laps in a total time of 247.67 seconds. It was a close-run thing at the front, with the lead swapping hands multiple times in the opening laps. James Weaver initially took the lead on lap 1, but Jenner immediately fought back. The lead changed between them again on laps 3 and 4, before Jenner finally cemented his advantage from lap 5 onwards, holding it all the way to the checkered flag.
James Weaver, driving a strong race, finished second, just one lap down on Jenner. He set the fastest lap of the entire race with a blistering 10.51 seconds, showing incredible pace. Ian Cowe fought hard to secure third place, also completing 21 laps, but finished 6.58 seconds behind Weaver. Ian Webb came home in fourth, a further two laps behind the leaders after completing 19 laps. Martin Timms and Jimmy Zepp were unable to complete any laps and did not finish.
