Tamiya Tourers Round 2: Timms Dominates, Pay Presses Hard
Martin Timms took a commanding victory in the Tamiya Tourers at Sevenoaks Model Car Club tonight, leading every single lap of the race. He crossed the line with a comfortable margin, setting a strong pace throughout the 17-lap encounter. Oscar Pay put in a determined drive to secure second place, consistently keeping pace with the leader and clocking the fastest lap of the race with an impressive 12.08 seconds.
While Martin Timms was in a class of his own at the front, the battle further back was just as intense. Polly Gammage made a solid climb through the field, moving up two positions from her starting spot to finish a well-deserved third. Donna Belton-Timms fought valiantly, finishing just behind Gammage after completing the same number of laps. Peter McKerrow, unfortunately, was unable to complete the full race distance, bringing his Tamiya Tourer home after 10 laps.
