Short Course Truck Race 1 Recap
What a display of Short Course Truck racing we've just witnessed here at Sevenoaks Model Car Club! James Campbell takes the win, completing 19 laps in 244.96 seconds. It wasn't a lights-to-flag victory though. Alan Culham led from the start, holding P1 until lap 6 when James Campbell made his move to take the lead, a position he held for the remainder of the race. Campbell also set the fastest lap of the entire race, a blistering 11.68 seconds.
Alan Culham fought hard, finishing in second place just over 8 seconds behind Campbell, also completing all 19 laps. He held the lead for the opening five laps, but couldn't quite reel Campbell back in after the lead change. Andrew Boakes brought his truck home in third, crossing the line after 15 laps. He ran a consistent race in third position throughout his time on track, ultimately finishing over 30 seconds behind the leaders.
Unfortunately, Adam Gammage and Keith Griggs were unable to complete any laps in this particular race, taking no further part after the start. A great show from our SC Truck drivers tonight!
