Tamiya Tourers: Timms Dominates Round 2
Martin Timms stamped his authority on Race 5 of the 2026 Summer Championship, leading every single lap from lights out to the chequered flag. His Tamiya Tourer was in a class of its own, setting a blistering fastest lap of 12.100 seconds and maintaining a consistent pace to take the win. Behind him, the battle for the remaining podium spots was fierce.
Donna Belton-Timms fought her way through the field, climbing two places from her starting position to secure a strong second overall. She completed 14 laps, just ahead of Polly Gammage who also finished on 14 laps, eventually taking third place. Oscar Pay, who had been running a solid second for much of the race, finished fourth after completing 11 laps. Peter McKerrow unfortunately did not complete any laps.
The gap between Martin Timms and the rest of the field grew throughout the race, with Donna Belton-Timms finishing 3.07 seconds behind the leader, and Polly Gammage a further 12.22 seconds back. It was a commanding performance from Martin, and a determined drive from Donna to claim second.
