What a finish to Race 6 of the Tamiya Tourers! Tim Webb takes the win, but it was a nail-biting affair right up to the final lap. Webb initially led for the first six laps, but Jimmy Zepp made a decisive move on lap seven to take the lead. Zepp then held the advantage until lap nine when Mark K Shepherd snatched the lead, holding it until lap twelve. On lap twelve, Zepp fought back to reclaim P1.
The race was far from over though. Webb, who had dropped back to fourth on lap seven, began a steady climb through the field. By lap fourteen, he was back in second and closing the gap to Zepp. On the very last lap, lap twenty, Webb executed a stunning move to take the lead and the victory, crossing the line just 0.8 seconds ahead of Zepp.
Mark K Shepherd held on for third place, a further 2.7 seconds behind Zepp. Mark Shepherd finished fourth, completing 20 laps, while Ian Foxwell finished fifth, completing 18 laps. Tim Webb also set the fastest lap of the race with an impressive 11.46 seconds. An absolute thriller from the Sevenoaks Model Car Club!
