2026 Summer Championship - Round 4: Race 3 - Touring Car - A Final Recap
What a sensational conclusion to the Touring Car A Final here at Sevenoaks Model Car Club! James Weaver takes the win, completing 22 laps in a blistering 310.76 seconds. He spent much of the race trading the lead with Bill Boag, but Weaver ultimately pulled away in the latter stages. His fastest lap, a rapid 13.13 seconds, set the benchmark for the entire field.
Bill Boag, who led for significant portions of the race, finishing second on 21 laps. He initially took the lead on lap 1, surrendered it to Weaver on lap 3, only to snatch it back on lap 4. However, James Weaver made a decisive move on lap 12 and held on for the victory. Bill finished just under three seconds behind Weaver, showcasing a consistent performance.
Behind the lead battle, Ian Cowe also completed 21 laps, securing third place. The race saw a number of drivers retire early, but the remaining competitors pushed hard to the finish. A fantastic display of skill and determination from all involved in this A Final.
