Short Course Truck A Final - Round 5
What a barnstormer of a Short Course Truck A Final we've just witnessed here at Sevenoaks Model Car Club for Round 5 of the Summer Championship! Toby Halstead takes the victory, completing 19 laps in a blistering 314.32 seconds. For much of the race, Toby and his brother Tim Halstead were locked in a fierce battle at the front. Tim pushed Toby all the way, finishing a mere 0.16 seconds behind after 18 laps, showing incredible pace throughout.
Alan Culham put in a strong drive to secure third place, managing 17 laps with a fastest lap of 15.58 seconds. Further down the field, Keith Griggs finished fourth, completing 14 laps, while Andrew Boakes rounded out the top five with 12 laps to his name. It was a fantastic display of close-quarters racing on the polished concrete, with all our finalists giving it their absolute best.
