2026 Summer Championship - Round 5: Tamiya Tourers A Final Recap
What a finish to our Tamiya Tourers A Final here at Sevenoaks Model Car Club! Mark K Shepherd has taken the win, but it was a hard-fought battle for the lead. Craig Playfoot took an early advantage, holding the lead for the opening six laps. However, on lap seven, Mark K Shepherd made a decisive move to take the front position and never looked back, going on to complete 20 laps. Shepherd also set the fastest lap of the race with an impressive 14.32 seconds.
Jack Brown came home in second, just four-tenths of a second behind Shepherd's total time after 20 laps. Damian Brown completed the podium, finishing third with 20 laps to his name. Craig Playfoot, after leading for so long, ultimately finished fourth, one lap down. Chris Playfoot and Tim Webb also competed in the final, completing 17 and 9 laps respectively.
