What a finish to the Short Course Truck A Final here at Sevenoaks Model Car Club! Toby Halstead takes the victory, crossing the line with a total time of 305.55 seconds. He managed to complete 26 laps around the polished hall floor, just enough to hold off a charging Tim Halstead. Tim finished a strong second, just 3.55 seconds behind his brother, after completing 25 laps.
Alan Culham put in a determined drive to secure third place, bringing his truck home in 305.35 seconds, albeit with one lap fewer than the leaders. He finished a further two laps back from the leaders, but ahead of Keith Griggs who came home in fourth after 20 laps. The gap between the leaders and the rest of the field grew significantly as the race progressed.
Despite the gaps, the consistency from the top two was evident, with Toby Halstead clocking his fastest lap at an impressive 10.51 seconds. While lap-by-lap data for the early stages is unavailable, the final standings speak volumes about the effort put in by all four drivers in this A Final.
