2026 Summer Championship - Round 6: Buggy A Final
What a race we just witnessed here at Sevenoaks Model Car Club for the Buggy A Final! The battle for the lead was intense, but it was Ian Foxwell who ultimately crossed the line to take a superb victory. Ian completed 28 laps in a total time of 302.18 seconds. Hot on his heels was Nick Stokes, who put in a fantastic drive to finish second, just over a second behind Ian after completing 27 laps. Ben Clark fought hard throughout to secure the final podium spot, finishing third with 26 laps to his name.
Holly Weaver pushed hard, finishing fourth on 25 laps, while Tom Jones came home in fifth having completed 24 laps. Peter McKerrow held the lead for a significant portion of the race and set the fastest lap of the event with a blistering 10.19 seconds. Unfortunately for Peter, he finished the race in sixth position with 21 laps completed.
A truly exciting conclusion to this round of the championship. Congratulations to Ian on the win and to all the drivers for putting on such a great show!
