Short Course Truck A Final - Summer Championship Round 7
What a fantastic finish to our Short Course Truck A Final at the Sevenoaks Model Car Club this evening! Toby Halstead takes a commanding victory, crossing the line after 19 laps with a total time of 312.06 seconds. He was pushed all the way, though, with Chris Luckett hot on his heels to secure a brilliant second place, just 2.17 seconds behind Toby. Completing the podium is Tim Halstead, also on 19 laps, who fought hard to finish third.
It was a race of attrition for some, with Alan Culham finishing fourth on 18 laps, and Keith Griggs, who led the opening 14 laps of the race and set the fastest lap with a blistering 16.77 seconds, ultimately finishing fifth after completing 14 laps. Tyrone Quinlivan came home in sixth, with Andrew Boakes rounding out the finishers in seventh.
A great display of driving from all our finalists tonight on what was a challenging track. Congratulations to Toby on his win, and well done to everyone for putting on such an exciting spectacle for the club!
