What a finish to the Touring Car A Final here at Sevenoaks Model Car Club! James Weaver takes the victory, but it wasn't straightforward. Ian Cowe dominated the early stages, leading every lap until lap 15. Weaver kept the pressure on, trailing by less than a second for much of the race, and finally made his move on lap 15 to take the lead and hold it to the flag. Weaver completed 23 laps in total, finishing with a gap of 7.06 seconds back to Cowe.
Despite setting the fastest lap of the race with an impressive 11.88 seconds on lap 1, Ian Cowe ultimately had to settle for second place. He completed 22 laps, just one shy of Weaver's winning total. Tim Webb, Ian Foxwell, Martin Timms, and Ian Webb were also in contention, but all retired before the finish, leaving Weaver and Cowe to battle it out for the championship points. A fantastic display of driving from both finalists!
