What a night of Tamiya Tourer racing at the Sevenoaks Model Car Club! In the A Final, it was Mark Shepherd who dominated proceedings from start to finish. He led every single lap, setting a blistering pace that none of the other drivers could match. His fastest lap of the race, a scorching 13.64 seconds, demonstrates just how on form he was.
Mark Shepherd crossed the line with a total time of 305.6 seconds, a comfortable margin ahead of the pack. The battle for the remaining podium spots was fierce, but ultimately it was Tim Webb who secured second place, just 0.61 seconds behind the winner. Mark K Shepherd rounded out the top three, a further 7.29 seconds back.
Jimmy Zepp finished in fourth position, completing 20 laps, while Martin Timms took fifth after 18 laps. A fantastic display of driving from all our finalists tonight!
